The Big Wig Ball is an annual fundraising event benefiting free student night performances of New Orleans Opera. The inaugural event took place in 2017 and featured food, libations, music, a raffle, and wig contest to crown New Orleans’ official “Big Wig.” Webb Smith + Co. was responsible for overall event concept including name, theme design, committee selection, securing sponsors and in-kind donors, and development and coordination of marketing and public relations efforts.
